Taproot Church exists to make disciples that make disciples of Jesus Christ.
Jesus left His people with one final command just before ascending to the Father, "Go make disciples..."
Jesus Christ lived the life that we couldn't live, died the death that we deserved, and raised victorious from the grave on our behalf. As believers in these truths, we've made it our sole mission to bring this good news to as many people as possible.
Through love for our city, love for each other, and love for God we labor daily at following Jesus Christ and bringing others to follow Him with us.
Disciple Making Methods
Our methods of making disciples are three-fold.
Locally we organize, train, and live on mission in two intertwined venues, the Sunday Gathering and Missional Communities. Out of these two arenas a third mechanism for discipleship is birthed: church plants. As disciples grow in Jesus, some are called to teams and then sent out to plant churches. These newly formed churches begin making disciples anew though Sunday Gatherings and Missional Communities in different localities across a given region.
These three intertwined means of discipleship form our framework for discipleship as a church.
