TAPROOT'S ELDERS
The Church’s chief Shepherd is Jesus Christ. Under His authority, the Holy Spirit appoints and enables particular men to lead, feed, protect, and guide His people. Taproot is lead by a plurality of qualified men called Elders or Pastors. These men operate out of their gifting for the overall benefit and joy of God’s people.
PASTOR JIM COBB - SHEPHERDING ELDER

Jim grew up Ellensburg, a small farming/college community in Eastern Washington. He became a believer in Jesus as a UW college student in Seattle when confronted with prophecy about the imminent return of Jesus. He soon joined a great church that much later became Taproot Church. After college he started work at Boeing, met and married his wife Janis. They have three kids that are now mature adults. After 30+ years, Jim is happily married to Janis; thankful Jesus still has him in a great church, and still productive at Boeing. God is faithful.

Mike grew up in the Southern Idaho town of Twin Falls. He became a follower of Jesus at the age of 13 while attending a local youth group. Mike was an avid baseball player with the hopes of making it big, but Jesus, by his grace, had other plans. At the age of 17 Mike met his wife Abby. They married when they were 19 and they now have two boys, Chael and Denny. In 2010 Mike and his family moved to Seattle to pursue the call to plant a church. He now enjoys serving at Taproot full-time while also being the first to go through Taproot's church planting internship. Mike and Abby love where God currently has them and are excited for where He will bring them.

DAN BRAGA - VISIONARY PREACHER
Stacks Image 821
Dan grew up in a small town in Southern Idaho. He had no connection with any church or exposure to the Bible. When Jesus saved him in 1998 he’d been living a life filled with drunkenness, drugs, and demonism. After salvation, Dan met his wife Alexis, got married, and started teaching the Bible. In 2007, Dan and his family moved to Burien to begin the work that has become Taproot Church. Today, the Bragas have 3 children, love their community, love their church, and are honored to serve Jesus for His glory.
