Taproot Church is proud to serve alongside the hundreds of other churches within the Acts 29 Network. The mission of Acts 29 is to band together churches which, for the sake of Jesus and the gospel, plant new churches and replant dead and dying churches around the world.

Ray and his wife, Kristin, were both born and raised in King County, and their paths crossed in church while Kristin was at the University of Washington. Since 2009, they have served in various ministries individually, and since 2012, they have strived to follow Jesus as one. Many manual labor jobs, kids, and degrees from the University of Washington, Moody Bible Institute, and Reformed Theological Seminary later, their family of five settled down in Burien near family. It was a joyful blessing and answer to prayer when Ray was called to shepherd Christ's flock at Taproot Church in June 2023. Together, the Harding family loves Jesus, His people, and the community that God has placed them in.

Ministry Stewards are members of Taproot Church who have demonstrated godly character, Spirit filled competency, and a kingdom-minded commitment to loving God and His people. They have shown themselves to be faithful stewards of Taproot Church’s God given Mission, Core Values, and Statement of Faith. Therefore, we endeavor to honor their faithfulness by entrusting to them areas of service and stewardship within Taproot Church.
